Columnist for Marie Claire magazine in North American, Nicolette Mason is one of the most influential names in fashion and plus sized bloggers in the United States.

Chubby blogger and columnist in Marie Claire became one of the most influential names in American plus size market. In an exclusive column, that she wrote was “Big Girl in a Skinny World” (something like “Big Girl on a Skinny World”), she tells how she entered the world of fashion and gives tips to plus sized women to accept themselves and find their style.

Nicolette began her career working in the creative field of fashion industry, while releasing her blog. Shortly after, she began writing for Vogue Italy in 2011; she received an unusual invitation to take a column in American Marie Claire magazine. Despite having faced the prejudice many times because of her weight, she says that she feels much more secure and confident now. For her, the best reward is the positive feedback she receives from her readers.

Nadia Aboulhosn

She is of Lebanese descent and is one of the most recognized plus sized fashion blogger in the world. Her name is Nadia Aboulhosn and she has shown in her blog why size is not an impediment to women.

For more than three years she has become one of the strongest bloggers in the fashion industry, and she is not afraid to use everything that is forbidden for women who are not thin (like gladiator sandals and knee-crop tops). Her style is sexy, carefree and blunt. Nadia is not afraid to wear leather skirts or short dresses that show her legs. She is pure personality and that has earned her recognition from brands like American Apparel, where she won the contest in search of the model of year.

“Fashion does not mean you have to be thin. Fashion for me is to feel comfortable and confident that your clothes reflect your personality,” she says. That attitude makes it very sensual.

GabiFresh

The work of this plus sized blogger has not gone unnoticed and she has already begun to transcend the web for spaces in fashion publications. This is the case of GabiFresh, a 24 year old New Yorker who created her page in 2008, Gabifresh.com, whose slogan is “Young, fat and fabulous.” With 15,389 followers on Twitter, she has worked in productions for size models for a well recognized agency Wilhelmina Models and also she has appeared on MTV and Teen Vogue. For her, the key is to adapt, “I’m a fan of the ‘make it work.” When you’re fat and you have style, you have to be creative, “she says in one of her entries.
